When we first met Sophie and Edward for their engagement shoot, we both knew they were going to have a fantastic wedding. They are such enthusiastic and passionate people that their day could never be anything less than awesome. Sophie’s dad brought her to Adlington Hall in his Maserati where Ed and the 145 guests were waiting in the Great Hall – very aptly named, as great it certainly is. Following the ceremony, we had plenty of time for photographs before heading over to the Hunting Lodge for the wedding breakfast, speeches and evening reception with ceilidh band and dancing.

This was our first visit to Adlington and we’d love to go back in the summer to make the most of the incredible surroundings. Lesley and the staff are incredibly welcoming and organised and the day ran smoothly under their control. The Hall itself is spectacular and once we catch up with blogging last years weddings, I’ll make sure to put a longer post up so you can see the incredible artworks and architecture. In the meantime, here is a little taster in the form of their Sneak Peek!
