Hello, I am Marie Lloyd. I’m a Cheshire wedding photographer.
Feelings is what I look for as I want to create photographs that evoke memories from your day. That could be belly laughing with your friends or a proud moment with your family but I will focus on the moments.
This page tells the story of my love for the Cheshire venue Capesthorne. I would love to share your passion for your wedding day at the hall. Upon booking, you will get my wedding guide with tips to make your day perfect.
CAPESTHORNE HALL WEDDINGS
Capesthorne Hall is a stately home that is still family-owned. The venue itself is set on 100 acres of land and boasts three lakes, and of course, no stately home would be complete without formal gardens. Your ceremony can be hosted in the drawing room decorated with chandeliers and Italian paintings. If you prefer an outdoor ceremony, there is a gorgeous gazebo with lake views.
Your guests can enjoy drinks after the ceremony in the saloon with a terrace for an outdoor setting. The evening reception can be held in the Lakeside Wing, which has a capacity for 180 guests and has a contemporary feel.
For photographs, you are spoilt for choice with woodland, parkland and 18th century planting in the formal gardens. The wedding venue in Macclesfield, Cheshire, is perfect for those who want period features, luxury and beautiful backdrops for their wedding day.
Getting Married in a Country House
I adore a stately home; not only do I know the interior will be gorgeous, but I know it will have incredible gardens to work in as well. Stately homes are the wow factor of wedding venues and Capesthorne Hall may have the wow factor on country houses. The chandeliers and Italian paintings adorn the walls of the drawing-room and a stunning ornate fireplace is to be found in the Queen Anne room. These features are what make a stately home stand out amongst other venues.
