One of the most incredible things for me as a wedding photographer working at Old Palace Chester is the location of Chester. If you love an urban look to your photographs you can pop into the city centre. You may prefer a riverfronted quirky look and you have the river Dee with the bridge and ice cream shops. The side of the Old Palace offers you the Grosvenor park for a more traditional backdrop. I love variety and catering to a couple’s photography needs, so whatever your idea of photography locations for your day the Old Place has them covered.

Old Palace Chester Wedding Photograph Highlights

As a local photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing countless beautiful moments at Old Palace Chester. Among my favourite works are the photographs taken at the historic Old Palace in Chester.

Nestled in the heart of Chester, the Old Palace is a breathtaking backdrop for weddings, with its timeless architecture and picturesque surroundings. My photographs at this iconic venue aim to encapsulate the romance and elegance of each wedding celebration held within its walls.

From intimate moments between the bride and groom to candid shots of guests enjoying the festivities, I strive to capture the essence of each wedding at Old Palace Chester. My goal is to transform fleeting moments into timeless treasures, preserving the magic of the occasion for years to come.

Some of my favourite wedding photographs taken at Old Palace Chester showcase not only the beauty of the venue but also the unique love story of each couple. Through my lens, I aim to capture the emotions, connections, and small details that make each wedding an unforgettable experience.

Whether it’s the historical Roma Chester or the modern city vibe you like, I seek to bring out your story in my photographs at Old Palace Chester. Each image serves as a testament to the enduring power of love and my dedication to the artistry of photography.

The riverside location and the large and bright rooms make the Old Palace one of the most luxurious wedding venues to photograph.
The Palace suite is a favourite for a photograph set in front of the large windows with a hint of the Italian plasterwork ceiling.

Another loved area is the Peploe lounge, bar, and often a requested wedding photograph. It also means if you have wet weather you are spoilt for choice for indoor locations.

The arrival hall is a gorgeous bright room perfect for any indoor photographs and boasts a chandelier and stunning fireplace. You can then walk into the Peploe lounge and bar painted in a luxurious blue which offers a perfect backdrop for candid photographs.
The Ballroom is one of my favourite reception rooms, it’s a fantastic size and offers incredible natural light which is perfect for making your wedding photographs.
Everyone loves the river kitchen for pizzas, creating such a cool evening vibe with the outdoors for your wedding.
