We met Jenny and Colm for the first time on their wedding day and what an easy couple to get on with. They married at the lovely St Werburghs Catholic Church on Grosvenor Park Road, Chester for the ceremony. The service was fantastic and I am always so pleased to shoot a catholic wedding as they are so welcoming and accommodating. Father Paul is a comedy act in his own right! He even managed to give Colm a little slap at one point, which maybe you had to be there but it had us all in stitches!
The guests were then all picked up by a bus and chauffeured to the quirky Oddfellows in Chester, on Lower Bridge Street. The venue lent itself to creating something different and Jenny and Colm were so much fun to work with and willing to run with our slightly wacky suggestions. We took lots and lots of natural candids and had a top burger and chips (we can highly recommend the food). It was our first visit to this venue and I hope there are many more, because as different goes Oddfellows is right up there.
