Hey there, lovebirds! Welcome to the world of Marie Lloyd Photography, your Lancashire wedding photographer. Every moment becomes a memory here, and every love story comes to life in Lancashire!

I’m Marie, your local photographer, and I’m here to capture all the magic on your special day. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a grand wedding, I’m your gal, ready to immortalize every heartfelt glance, every joy-filled tear, and every belly laugh shared between you and your soulmate.

Nestled in the heart of Lancashire, surrounded by gorgeous hills and quaint cobblestone streets, my love for photography blossomed into a full-blown obsession with capturing love stories. Using a mix of candid and any requested posed shots, I aim to create photographs that showcase your unique personality and take you back to that momentous day every time you glance at them.

Forget stiff poses and fake smiles – my approach is all about being authentic and spontaneous. Let’s wander through sun-dappled meadows, sneak a kiss under an ancient oak tree, and dance in the golden glow of sunset. Together, we’ll create a visual symphony that sings of your story in every frame.

From our first chat to the moment you receive your beautifully curated gallery, I’m dedicated to making your photography experience as fun and stress-free as possible. Think of me as your confidante, cheerleader, and personal paparazzi!

So, if you’re ready to embark on this epic adventure called marriage, let’s make some photo magic together! Get in touch, and let’s turn your love story into a work of art that will stand the test of time. Cheers to love, laughter, and happily ever after!

Lancashire wedding photographer

You LOVE in-the-moment images

I am Marie, a wedding photographer from the North Wales and Cheshire border. I have been covering Lancashire weddings since 2009. I am passionate about weddings, and not just in Cheshire! Every wedding is unique. You will want to remember the celebrations forever, so hiring a trustworthy photographer who will rock your wedding is a must. Every wedding photographer in Lancashire or anywhere in the UK will have their unique style. You must find a professional with a style and approach that works for you and your nuptials.

I am a modern girl; I like a natural, unobtrusive style. I want you to feel I am not there for most of your wedding day. In my reviews, wedding couples often say, “I didn’t even know she was there” or “we didn’t know you took that portrait”. If I am going to capture all those candid images and get you looking your very best, I need to be stealthy, and if that means bobbing around in ninja mode, then that is what I will do! You have the cotton mill and historical docks with venues nearby, like Bartle Hall. You could even serve a Lancashire hot pot at your wedding reception!

Stirk house is full of charm Stirk House is a gorgeous venue to photograph at. The gardens are incredible and are as far as the eye can see in all…

Photographs that show feeling

We are so excited you are here! Since 2009, I’ve picked up many awards, shooting hundreds of weddings in Lancashire and around the UK. I’ll capture the excitement of seeing your partner walk down the aisle, your family and friends’ faces, the laughter, the tears, the dancing (good and bad!) and the happiness you will feel to be married.

What does Lancashire offer for wedding photographs

Lancashire wedding venues

The charming and historic county of Cheshire is a fabulous location for your nuptials. I have worked in many Lancashire wedding venues, such as Eaves Hall. The country house is in Clitheroe. Clitheroe is an area I have photographed in before. In particular, for a stunning farm wedding. I am lucky to live around an hour’s drive from Lancashire and share in the amazing locations it offers.

An enormous amount of Lancashire venues are in exclusive use. There are magnificent Halls, nature reserves in Brockholes, and the funky tree marquee.

We have visited some of the most incredible venues in Lancashire, photographing in Mitton Hall.

Some of my favourite things to do in Lancashire that I think your guests will love

Blackpool is one of the most famous places in the UK. I have visited it many times. The Blackpool lights are one of the most popular attractions at Christmas time.

With Lancashire being known for its docks and water, Lancaster is one to put on the list to visit. Lancaster Castle is a great historic site to visit.

Walking and scenery, I recommend Ribble Valley. Your guest could enjoy an evening stay in a glamping pod. The valley is certainly a beautiful backdrop for photographs.

I have been lucky to photograph many weddings in Lancashire over the years. I have done some beautiful farm weddings and visited some stunning venue locations.

If you are having a wedding in Lancashire, then please get in touch. We have photographed over 300+ weddings and can photograph your wedding together or as one photographer. My name is Marie, and I also have Jason as my second photographer. We have worked together since the beginning, back in 2009.
