As a Wrexham based wedding photographer sitting on the Cheshire border, I am so lucky to get to photography in many of the beautiful wedding venues across many areas. This wedding I got to photograph in three incredible venues. First, we started at Willington lodge in Whitchurch, Shropshire an absolutely stunning house. Second, we travelled to St Michaels, Marbury Church, again in Whitchurch, Shropshire. Last, we went to one of our all-time favourites, Iscoyd Park in North Wales where we have been lucky enough to photograph Iscoyd weddings over the years.
Willington Lodge Wedding Photography
Having been to Willington lodge before, it was lovely to return to the venue for the getting ready of Stephanie and her bridesmaids. We are so looking forward to visiting the lodge for our first ever wedding there soon. We also did some getting ready photographs at Willington Lodge for Iscoyd Park bride Cat.
Two wedding dresses
Two dress changes and more musicians than you can imagine. Steph and Lloyds wedding day was music to my ears from start to finish. Starting in the lovely Willington Lodge I had a fabulous girlie morning deciding which earrings and which shoes went best and loving the collection of makeup Steph owns, I so want her to do a makeover on me! Similarly, we had another Iscoyd Park wedding who also got ready in Willington Lodge.
The wedding dresses were a traditional British style white dress and then later in the day Steph changed into a red dress more traditional from her family’s heritage. Both dresses looked beautiful and added a stunning contrast to the wedding day.
Church wedding ceremony
We then moved onto the stunning St Michaels, Marbury Church where it was lovely to receive a friendly welcome from the minister there and an invitation to their Christmas carol service for the wedding couple which I must admit I would be tempted to go to as its lovely to feel welcome in a church.
Iscoyd Park Wedding Photographer
It was then a trip to one of my favourite venues, Iscoyd Park where the service is always exceptional and the food by Fine Dining company some of the best I have ever tasted. Having been a photographer at the venue for several years, I have a lot of work to show. Laura and John had a spectacular indoor wedding at the Georgian venue. While Cat and Mike opted for a church ceremony and an Iscoyd reception.
Thank you so much to Steph and Lloyd for booking us for their wedding day xx
