We had photographed all the friends' weddings
Cari and Tom were one of the last weddings we did out of an amazing group of friends from North Wales whom we have photographed weddings for over the years.

They are both lovely people, very chilled and content in each other’s company. They are amazing parents and friends, and you couldn’t ask to work with nicer people.

My Second visit to Tyn Dwr Hall
This was my second wedding photography visit at North Wales wedding venue Tyn Dwr Hall and the weather was completely different as we had that amazing hot summer spell which meant things like the waterfall shot I had planned all went as there wasn’t enough water for a waterfall and so in its place came lots of shade with dappled gorgeous summer light just beautiful.

The venue itself, if you haven’t been is simply stunning and if you go back over my over my blog entries, you will see this is definitely one to put on your list of venues if you are looking for a wedding venue.

The wedding dress back detail to die for
So Cari’s dress for me is in two parts amazing. First the simplicity of the front and the dress structure just make for a gorgeous shape to it and then the back with the beautiful beadwork and button fastenings it’s just like they made it for Cari.

The best group of friends
So as always with this group, I just love seeing how much fun they all have together. They are great mates and it's lovely to see and be around.

Photographing natural moments

As a wedding photographer, storytelling is my passion. I will of course photograph your formals, but ideally I like those to be at a minimum. What I love to photograph is candid, natural moments. Belly laughs and tears are my absolute favourite.
The gardens are beautiful

Walking around the garden at Tyn Dwr Hall is always a pleasure. It spoils us for choice for wedding photography locations.

We like to opt for the smaller bridge in the daytime, as this is usually a shaded spot from the strong midday sun.

Blue featured heavily in the colour scheme

They used small blue touches throughout. The flowers had a hint of blue and the glasses and the wedding cake.
A golden sunset at Tyn Dwr Hall

We were lucky enough to get some golden light peeping through in the evening. The evening being our favourite time of day to use the larger bridge, which is now in pleasant shade.

Other weddings
We love Tyn Dwr and have photographed some beautiful weddings there. Why not check out two Autumn weddings? Gemma and Daniel had a stunning Only fools and horses styled wedding. Then Laura and Ben had gorgeous Autumn colours and lots of reds.
In contrast, why not check out a summer wedding at a different venue for some ideas? We had a lovely Summer wedding in Carden Park with lots of yellows and a summery vibe.
