Tips for Capturing Unforgettable Wedding Photos in Shropshire

When planning your Shropshire wedding photography, it’s important to think about the time of day and the light. Shropshire weddings often take place in the afternoon, so I am prepared to find the best light in the height of the harsh sunlight the midday can provide. I am always looking for that gorgeous sunburst or dabbled shade to add interest to your photographs. If your wedding is taking place at night, you will need a photographer who can use lights and flashes to capture the beauty of the evening, I use a variety of lights to make sure everything from your sparkler exit to your evening portraits can be lit beautifully.

It’s also important to think about the background. Look for a photographer who can capture the unique beauty of the Shropshire landscape, from the rolling hills to the picturesque villages. If you’re having a wedding at a castle or manor house, make sure your photographer can capture the grandeur of the venue.

SHROPSHIRE

Yey you are considering Shropshire for your wedding. I have been photographing in Shropshire since 2009. Some of my favourite spots being Beckbury Church and The Hundred House Hotel and the new and the Great Barn which I have done many wedding fayres at. Favourites are Walcot Hall and Rowton Castle and I love photographing at these Shropshire wedding venues.

Shropsire has incredible scenery and I love the historic settings particularly Walcot Hall a stunning Georgian country house and Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings. I also love Ludlow castle and photographed a gorgeous ceremony there before moving onto Millers of Netley. Also worth a visit is Acton Scott hall which is in Shropshire area of outstanding beauty.
