Lion Quays wedding photographer
We first fell in love with the Lion Quays when we visited their incredible spa and its been a firm favourite of ours ever since and it is a stunning place for wedding photography.
Glyn Ceiriog Church for the ceremony
Lucy and Ben chose a gorgeous church in Glyn Ceiriog for their wedding ceremony. Moreover, they chose the church based on the stunning views of the countryside. Lucy wanted to make the most of the countryside views and had all her formals at the church, which is usually a good idea if there is enough space as it means guests aren’t missing because they are at the bar!
Cathedral length veil at Shropshire Church
Lucy went for a fitted lace dress with sleeves In addition, it had a lovely cut out back detail. She teamed the dress with pearl earrings and a cathedral length veil which was her something borrowed.
The guys wore grey suits with grey waistcoats and very shiny black shoes!
Lion Quays wedding tables named after famous lovers from literature
The theme of the day was books that is to say they named the tables after famous lovers from literature. My favourite being Bella & Edward! (I am a huge Twilight fan; Jason asked who they were!) The colours used were shades of white, certainly adding a classy and timeless feel to the day. They looked amazing in the conservatory room of the Lion Quays, which was their chosen reception venue.
There were 7 bridesmaids, which is the most we have ever had, above all I loved it. I thought there would be chaos in the morning, but it went really smoothly and the getting ready was so much fun. The bridesmaids all wore matching dresses in green and had smaller matching bouquet the bride.
