Bride and groom at The Manor

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY THE MANOR AT OLD DOWN ESTATE

Hello how are you? I am Marie Lloyd a wedding photographer covering Bristol. Originally from Llanelli in South Wales I love photographing all over Bristol and the surrounding areas. You can find some of my latest work at the Old Down Estate below.

I concentrate on moments whether that’s your fathers first look of you in your dress or those belly laugh moments with your friends I want to be there to photograph them.

The Manor offers a relaxed environment and I like to mimic that in my photography mingling amongst guests looking for those precious candid moments. You will find on this page my recent wedding photography work at the estate. I look forward to sharing my excitement for the The Manor with you. You will also upon booking receive my latest wedding guide with all the tips and recommendations I have added to it.

PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE MANOR

One of the most incredible wedding venues in Bristol, the Manor has incredible views and stately home features. The Manor can be found in the Old Down Estate which is a vast country park with many features such as a zoo making it a perfect location to entertain guests before during and after your wedding. Moreover it boasts the Foxhill Spa, 66 acres, walled gardens and an orchard.

Inside the manor you will find the bath stone staircase and stunning chandelier. The venue underwent a £5 million pounds transformation and that shows in the luxury of the venue.

The wedding venue also has some ancient woods and one of my favourites was the tree lined gated entrance. Other things for your guests to enjoy are the Honey bees, giant chess board and picnic area.

How to find The Manor

The Manor at Old Down Estate can be found at Foxholes Ln, Tockington, Old Down, Bristol BS32 4PG

Foxholes lane is a narrow lane with little passing and so please drive carefully as I missed the turning the first time and had to turn around, that was tricky. The entrance is slightly concealed.

Old down estate can be approached from the B4461 the turning into Foxholes lane is on a bend and not well sign posted. The nearest landmark is a large green barn and you will also see large black and white chevron signs on the corner.

Follow the rd until you see the sign for Old Down Esate on the right. The sign is most visible to cars driving in this direction down the lane.

If you use Google Maps as your Sat Nav you can use the Google plus code to find it HCPP+Q8 Bristol To use it simply copy and paste the plus code into Google maps. It is also an easy way of sharing the location with your guests.

If driving into Foxholes Lane from the other side as I was you will see a brown sign on the turning for the lane. When you see the closed entrance gates on your left you are nearly there, the main turning is the left after this so prepare for the turning.
