I’m going back over some weddings from earlier in the year and this Mottram Hall wedding leapt out at me as one we haven’t yet blogged. There are a lot of really nice weddings we haven’t caught up with blogging yet, so while we aren’t rushing around shooting weddings, doing e-shoots and editing I’m going to try and catch up with a few!

Naomi and Matthew got ready at Mottram Hall, then travelled back to St John the Baptist church in Irlam for their wedding before returning to Mottram – certainly one of the longer road trips and the fantastic 1935 Austin 12/4 Tourer Naomi chose didn’t miss beat. Matthews family had arranged a little treat for him on arrival back on Mottram Hall, a bacon roll! Can’t say we’ve seen that before!

Then the drama… The wedding cake was involved in a ‘bit of an incident’ during transport to the venue… You’ll find a couple of pictures of how it arrived about halfway through this post. Quite how the cake maker managed to pull off the repair in such a short time I’ve no idea, but Naomi took it all in her stride and was not phased at all. The room was also dressed beautifully and the grounds leave plenty of choice for portraits. We rattled a few shots off of the couple, then headed off for food, speeches and dancing.

Have a look through and let us know what you think. Jason
