Nicola and Dan are both very laid back, smiley happy people which went perfect with their Cheshire wedding. They are a couple who are easy to get along with and were just a dream to work with for their wedding photography.
Venue – So Colshaw Hall in Cheshire was a new wedding venue to photograph in for us and it was a gorgeous hot day. The Cheshire estate was huge and what I particularly loved about the wedding grounds was how they had a gorgeous mix of a traditional garden blended with modern garden. I also loved the wedding ceremony room which was a separate wooden stable area. This was a total blank canvas, so if you like a minimal look or have a theme it’s perfect for putting your own wedding stamp on.
Dress – Nicolas wedding dress was beautiful. I love a cathedral length train and the detail on it was lovely, it makes it beautiful to photograph from behind. She also had lots of intricate detail on her dress and it was finished off with some sensational earrings.
Fave bits – One of the stand out memories of this wedding to photograph was the party atmosphere in the evening. These guys knew how to party and there was some pretty good moves being shown on the dancefloor!
Here is their story –
Dan and I met on a night out in Wrexham. Dan proposed to me whilst travelling in New Zealand. We were on a boat in Milford Sound and had just got completely drenched under a waterfall when he got down on one knee and popped the question.
Wedding Vision – A bit of vintage, a bit of woodland fairytale.
