A dreamy July wedding at Merrydale Manor.
Rebecca and James’ breathtaking summer wedding at Merrydale Manor was exactly that. From the moment Rebecca stepped into her exquisite Martina Liana gown from Along Came Eve Bridal Boutique, it was clear this would be something truly special. The intricate lace, the delicate flowers, the way the fabric flowed, it was perfect on Rebecca. James looked equally dashing in a classic Marc Darcy suit from Platts Menswear, exuding suave sophistication as he waited to see his bride.
The ceremony was romantic, with an ethereal floral backdrop designed by Kelly Louise, setting the scene for their heartfelt vows. Accompanied by the soulful melodies of Daisy Kate, who masterfully switched between piano, guitar, and vocals. The atmosphere was sweet, brimming with love, excitement, and the kind of infectious energy that made my day photographing so much fun.
Following the “I do’s,” guests were treated to an afternoon of elegant revelry during the drinks and canapé reception, with the picturesque grounds of Merrydale Manor serving as the perfect backdrop.
As the evening unfolded, the celebrations moved to a candle-lit reception, exquisitely decorated by Uplit Event Hire. Every detail was meticulously considered, from the opulent floral arrangements to the delicate details on their breathtaking cake by Isabelle’s Cakes. The night came alive with music and laughter as Dusk 7 Events took over, ensuring the dance floor stayed packed until the very last song.
