From the morning details to the sparkler send-off, Chloe and Craig’s Henblas Country Park wedding was filled with everything that makes a celebration unforgettable. Set in Anglesey a beautiful small island in North Wales, this stunning venue offered the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, joy-filled day that was every bit as beautiful as it was heartfelt.
Morning at Henblas – Calm, Excited, and Full of Emotion
Chloe spent the morning getting ready in Henblas’s charming bridal suite, a hidden, panelled bridal preparation room in the heart of the barn, surrounded by her bridesmaids, a few happy tears, and a lot of laughter. The rooms at Henblas are bathed in soft, natural light – perfect for capturing those quiet, intimate moments before the day begins.
Cassie from Cassie M Bridal worked her magic with flawless makeup, while the florals from Velvet Peony filled the room with soft, romantic tones.
The morning always feels so special. There’s this mix of excitement and calm that sets the tone for the whole day.

The Ceremony – Rustic Elegance in the Henblas Barn
The couple’s ceremony took place inside Henblas’s beautifully restored barn, in the white room which has a whole wall of natural light, white floors, white draping to the ceiling and views out onto the beautiful Henblas countryside. With a ceremony led by The Snowdonia Celebrant, Chloe and Craig’s vows were full of laughter, warmth, and emotion.
Blue Hour Portraits – A Photographer’s Dream
After the confetti settled, we explored the Henblas grounds for portraits bathed in blue evening light. During the daytime, when the sun was at its strongest, we utilised the tree-covered paths and a small rustic garden to create an intimate feel in the shaded areas. The venue’s rolling fields, stone barns, and sweeping countryside views make it a dream for any wedding photographer, and the bride particularly loved horses and wanted photos with them. We had a bonus when the sheep came to say hello too.
A Joyful Evening of Food, Music and Celebration
Guests enjoyed an incredible feast by Marc Macauley Catering before heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing and tearing up in equal measure. The elegant, floral-inspired cake from Cegin Flodau was a showstopper – simple, elegant, and perfectly in keeping with the day’s relaxed aesthetic.
As night fell, The Fuse filled the barn with music and energy, and the dance floor came alive. The evening ended under a canopy of sparklers – the perfect finale to a day full of love, laughter, and light.
