Getting Ready at Talhenbont Hall
Talhenbont Hall offers a calm, character-filled space to start the day. Roisin got ready in the beautiful bridal suite surrounded by her bridesmaids, who wore deep green dresses that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings.
Her bridal look was classic and romantic, with soft glam by Makeup by Lois and an elegant updo by Stacey Yates Hair. She wore a lace gown by Enzoani, found at Along Came Eve Bridal Boutique, paired with delicate pearl drop earrings a timeless combination. Donna L Designs expertly tailored her gown.
The Ceremony Indoors
Although the rain meant most of the day was spent indoors, the intimacy of the ceremony was only amplified. The venue’s character-rich interiors offered the perfect backdrop as they exchanged vows in the coach house, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The space was styled D&D Occasions, with florals by Dark Side of the Bloom combining roses and white orchids for a modern yet romantic feel.. As a Talhenbont Hall wedding photographer, I knew all the perfect locations to use in wet or dry weather.
A Confetti Moment Worth Risking the Rain For
One of Roisin and David’s non-negotiables was a confetti photo, and despite the rain, we made it happen. I’m so glad they were up for a little rain as it is one of my favourite photos from the day. Set against the stone backdrop of Talhenbont Hall, this joyful moment perfectly captures their personalities and the energy of their guests.
Reception Styling & Personal Touches
Their reception was full of thoughtful details that felt truly personal. Tables were dressed with white sashes and green foliage, and guests were invited to contribute bucket list ideas for the couple’s next adventures together a lovely way to keep the celebration interactive. Elegant stationery, lush florals, and atmospheric lighting made the space feel magical.
Food, Fun, and Evening Vibes
The food by Cheeky Chilli Events was a real highlight, followed later by crowd-pleasing bites from Chippy Truck Ynys Mon. A string quartet from The Function Hub provided the perfect soundtrack during drinks, and as night fell, Baker Wicked brought the energy for the dancefloor. The guests also loved the photobooth fun by Event Lounge UK, and the couple cut a beautiful cake by The Red Rose Cake Company.
