Why we love photographing at the barn

The barn is one of those unique ceremony and reception venues that has lots of areas to photograph in. Tower Hill Barns only book the venue out for exclusive use, which means we do not have to worry about photographing non guests by mistake!
People and hospitality can make or break even the best of wedding venues. I can safely say Tower Hill Barns have the hospitality side nailed to perfection. The staff they have working there are gold standard, always friendly, and can never do enough for you. The food is also incredible, and your guests will be content and have a wonderful time.
Wet Weddings at TOWER HILL

First thing I would say is do not worry. You have chosen the venue that provides one of the most all rounder locations for any eventuality with the weather.
If you have a wet day, you will have the magnificent sandstone railway bridge for shelter to get outdoor photographs. I have also in the past opened the bifold doors in the barn during a wet wedding and placed the dry bride and groom indoors while still getting an outdoor look through the open doors.
WHY TOWER HILL BARNS IS ONE OF OUR FAVOURITES
North Wales is stunning by nature, but to have such rustic and luxury venue overlooking the North Wales countryside is the icing on the cake for photographs.
Tower Hill has two areas for your ceremony. The indoor ceremony area being an intimate ceremony space with stunning stone walls which have a rustic and timeless feel. The outdoor ceremony area perfect for a laid-back service. The outdoor area has wooden benches and a rustic feel to it that compliments the barn ambience.
My favourite of all the spaces at Tower Hill Barns is the oak framed dining hall. The owners invested a lot into this space, and it really pays off. The dining hall makes the absolute best of the views and lets in gorgeous daylight into your reception. This may be one of my favourite reception areas of all the barns and indeed venues I visit.

GETTING THE BEST PHOTOS AT THE BARN
Tower Hill lends itself to couples who just want a natural, unposed look to their photographs. During the daytime, when the sun may be stronger, we like to use the bridge both above as they shelter the bridge with trees and below.
We like to photograph you without looking at the camera, preferring couples to walk and interact with each other naturally.
During the early evening, the sun sets behind the Welsh hills. We like to pop out at this point for photographs at the front of the barn. This can lend itself to some beautiful, colourful skies.
The evening is then lit up by the string of lights that adorn the path at Tower Hill Barns. We like to place couples in front of the string of lights as a beautiful finish photo for their album.

A perfect location in North Wales with different rooms in exclusive parts of the barn for you to have your dream wedding. We have photographed both indoor and outdoor weddings at Tower Hill in all seasons. It is a fantastic private space with its separate dance area and large windowed oak barn extension. Tower Hill Barns is one of the most popular luxury venues in North Wales.

FEEL EVERY MOMENT

Over the years, Tower Hill Barns has grown and developed like any top venue should. One element it has added is the outdoor ceremony area under the old railway bridge. They also have the outdoor bar area. My favourite part is the fire pit area. Guests love the fire pit and it is always a social spot for guest's to relax in the evenings.
Candid, Candid and more Candid! I like to mingle with your wedding guests and find those precious moments. I will photograph those raw moments, when you get the belly laughs, tears and the funny. You will not be bothered about double chins, funny faces or a wonky tie as you want your day photographed as naturally and as imperfectly perfect as it is.
I approach your wedding day at Tower Hill Barns by trying to make the most of the beautiful scenery from the welsh hills to the large field beyond. The venue offers incredible opportunities to get different photos at every wedding. We like to photograph as naturally as possible. We will of course grab your group photographs, but after that we like to say ignore the camera and we will capture your wedding story.

What my couples say
Being able to say 'I do' under the bridge is one of the main reasons my couples have chosen Tower Hill Barns. They also love the relaxed atmosphere of the barn and are looking forward to sharing the space with their close family and friends.
They have loved my photos at Tower Hill because capturing the moments of the day is important to them. They are already the type of people who live looking back on their own photos and reliving those memories. For most, the photography on the wedding day is about having the memories to look back on.
