An Explosion of Colour, Music, and Style
Think ribbons fluttering in the breeze, the buzz of live music, and the scent of wood-fired pizza wafting through the air. Lauran and Nathaniel’s wedding felt more like an upscale boutique festival than a traditional ceremony. Their guests were welcomed with vibrant décor by Laura Loves Weddings, with bold speaker stacks painted in pinks and peaches, florals bursting from bottles, and retro-chic touches everywhere.
From the very start, the tone was set for a day filled with personality, colour, and joy.
Bridal Style with an Editorial Twist
Lauran wore a stunning off-shoulder gown with delicate lace details, exuding elegance and femininity. Her look was elevated with flawless make-up by @sophieedebridal and modern, romantic hair styling by Francesco hair. Newcastle. Everything about her styling whispered luxury while keeping that effortless festival vibe.
Nathaniel looked equally sharp in a dark green tailored suit with soft tonal accents that complemented the colour palette and countryside setting beautifully.
The Florals: Wild, Dreamy, and Modern
Created by Kirsty at Sweetpeas and peonies, the floral design featured textural, seasonal blooms in pinks, whites, and mauves, paired with soft flowing ribbons that danced in the breeze. It was floral artistry at its most editorial. The bouquet was romantic without being traditional, stylish without trying too hard.
A Ceremony Filled with Laughter, Vows, and Marvel Magic
@yourceremony001 led a heartfelt outdoor ceremony under the open sky. Guests were surprised and delighted when some unexpected Disney and Marvel characters made playful appearances, just another way Lauran and Nathaniel made the day their own.
A Foodie’s Festival: Pizza, Chippy Tea & Sweet Nostalgia
The couple served pizza straight from a wood-fired oven and followed it up with nostalgic chippy tea for the ultimate comfort food treat. The whole day felt like an upscale garden party with a gourmet twist, with guests able to lounge, mingle and enjoy the relaxed layout of The Farm’s outdoor space.
Iconic Entertainment and the Birdie Camper
Live music by the insanely talented Aaron Sherlock Music had everyone swaying (and later dancing) with acoustic sets that brought all the festival feels. The Birdie Camper @birdie_photobooth brought the fun with a pink retro photo booth van, complete with props, laughter, and memories made.
Oh, and yes – there was a bouncy castle. Because why not?
