A Georgian Country House
Davenport House while being close to the outside world feels like its in a world of it's own. As you meander up the drive you begin to feel relaxed and then you arrive at the property with a huge smile eager to get out and explore. The grandeur inside the Georgian estate is incredible, making it a beautiful place for guests to have a variety of spaces to relax and celebrate your wedding in. As a wedding photographer covering Shropshire it is a local venue for me.

Davenport House has every style of photography covered. You have acres of grounds for a relaxed photo vibe, and the Hall provides a grand background. There are also smaller sweet sitting areas and grass covered chairs.
For wet weather you have the grand staircase, entrance hall, Saloon and separate seated area. All are decorated with stunning fireplaces, mirrors and beautiful paintings.

The hall even though it is Grade I listed has plenty of space for larger weddings with a dining capacity of 150. They provide a preparation room for you to get ready in and an amazing 32 guests can stay over at the venue. They have the capacity for both indoor and outdoor ceremony's or you have the beautiful church in Beckbury as an option just 15 minutes away.

I am based in Penyffordd Chester making Davenport House very local to me. From the B4176 turn at the sign for Worfield. Take the first turning on your left (opposite a farm field entrance). Continue straight the entrance to Davenport will be on your right. There is a sign and some small stones marking the grass by the entrance.
