CAPESTHORNE HALL WEDDINGS
Capesthorne Hall is a stately home which is still family owned. The venue itself is set in 100 acres of land boasts three lakes and of course no stately home would be complete without formal gardens. Your ceremony can be hosted in the drawing room which is decorated with chandeliers and Italian paintings. If you prefer an outdoor ceremony there is a gorgeous gazebo with lake views.
Your guests can enjoy drinks after the ceremony in the saloon which has a terrace for an outdoor setting. The evening reception can be held in the Lakeside Wing which has capacity for 180 guests and has a contemporary feel.
For photographs you are spoilt for choice with woodland, parkland and 18th centuary planting in the formal gardens. The wedding venue in Macclesfield Cheshire is perfect for those who want period features, luxury and beautiful backdrops for their wedding day.
Getting Married in a Country House
I adore a stately home, not only do I know the interior is going to be gorgeous, I know it is going to have incredible gardens to work in as well. Stately homes are the wow factor of wedding venues and Capesthorne Hall may have the wow factor on country houses. The chandeliers and Italian paintings adorn the walls of the drawing-room and a stunning ornate fireplace is to be found in the Queen Anne room.
