Early autumn looked and felt like high summer, with golden sunshine flooding the gardens and glasshouse from the moment I arrived. As an Abbeywood Estate wedding photographer, days like this are a dream: relaxed, elegant, emotional, and full of joy from every angle. The whole venue seemed to glow, creating the perfect backdrop for the most effortless and natural photographs.
With the morning laughter shared with their bridal party to their slow, sunlit walk through the gardens, the entire wedding was the perfect blend of style and heart. The ceremony outdoors under the gazebo was warm and beautiful, surrounded by greenery in the exotic garden. Alyssa wore a breathtaking gown by Martin Thornburg, sourced from the lovely team at Wedding Belles Bridal, Frodsham, paired with elegant heels from The White Ribbon Berlin. Her soft glam was perfected by Frankly Beautiful MUA, while Bridal Hair by Hannah styled her romantic curls.

The in-house Abbeywood Estate florists created beautifully refined arrangements that echoed the venue’s gardens. Everything felt harmonious – natural, elegant, and stylish without feeling overdone.
The cake’s, crafted by The Lounge and Kitchen at Oakmere, was minimalist and delicious (and quickly devoured by the guests!).

The gardens catch the light beautifully and transform into a warm, glowing backdrop – perfect for relaxed, editorial-inspired photos.
Alyssa & Luke were an absolute joy. Their connection was so natural and effortless, and we captured some of my favourite ever portraits between the trees and gardens.
The Evening Party: Drinks, Dancing & Big Emotions
As the sun set, the glasshouse turned into a warm, atmospheric party space. The dancefloor was full, the laughter was infectious, and the energy was incredible from start to finish.
This was a wedding full of life – the couple both having a love for dancing put on an amazing routine. Their friends, particulary those that loved dance filled the dancefloor having the best time.
