As a wedding photographer at Abbeywood, I get to witness some truly unforgettable days, but this one felt like pure magic. The sun shone brightly over the estate’s incredible gardens, bathing everything in a golden glow that made early autumn feel more like high summer.
From the very start, there was laughter, emotion, and a palpable sense of joy. This was a day full of style, elegance, and fun, everything I adore in a wedding and everything my couples come to me for.
A Stylish Celebration in Stunning Surroundings
Set in the heart of Cheshire, Abbeywood Estate is a luxury wedding venue known for its glasshouse, panoramic views, and 45 acres of landscaped gardens. Alyssa and Luke fully embraced the venue’s natural beauty with a ceremony that felt like a dream.
Alyssa wore a breathtaking gown by Martin Thornburg, sourced from the lovely team at Wedding Belles Bridal, Frodsham, paired with elegant heels from The White Ribbon Berlin. Her soft glam was perfected by Frankly Beautiful MUA, while Bridal Hair by Hannah styled her romantic curls.
Luke looked sharp in an Antique Rogue suit from Suits Direct, with classic shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt, echoing the timeless style that suited the whole day.
Florals, Feasting & a Few Sweet Touches
Florals, of course, were beautifully handled by the talented in-house team at Abbeywood Estate, creating a perfect harmony with the surrounding gardens. The ceremony backdrop was simple, refined, and elegant, just like the couple.
The cake by The Lounge and Kitchen at Oakmere was a masterpiece: minimal in design, packed with flavour, and loved by all the guests. Every element was carefully curated and yet effortlessly stylish.
